Gewürztraminer, Columbia Gorge – 1911 2 PAILS ON SALE
Brehm Vineyards Columbia Gorge Gewürztraminer has won many wine awards and friends. Gewürztraminer is an aromatic grape variety that performs best in cooler climates. The variety has high natural sugar and the wines are white and usually off-dry, with a flamboyant bouquet of lychees. Indeed, Gewürztraminer and lychees share the same aroma compounds. Dry Gewürztraminers may also have aromas of roses, passion fruit and floral notes. It is not uncommon to notice some fine bubbles on the inside of the glass.
Syrah, Columbia Gorge – 1822* 1 PAIL ON SALE
This Syrah from Mosier, Oregon represents the eastern, warmer end of the Columbia Gorge. Grown in a basalt bowl filled with the sediment from historical floods, it provides sandy, dusty soils and a reflective sun from its rock walls. The grapes yielded approximately 2 tons to the acre. White Salmon Vineyard Winery has produced wine this exceptional fruit since 2013 with great success.
